Description The position requires an individual who can prioritize work effectively and anticipate, communicate, problem solve, and plan for inevitable changes in his/her assignments, workload and deadlines. The position, in addition to development, will require the individual to work directly with the US tech lead to address bugs/issues from end-users of the application, have a high-level overview of all the projects that we’re working on, the progress on those projects, and ensure timely delivery prior to deadline. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the engineering team to effectively develop both front and back end Conduct quality control checks throughout development Comfortable with initiating and implementing new scripts Anticipate possible failures/errors and implement new solutions to make users interface easier and simpler Directly report to and assist Tech Lead Requirements 5-7 years of relevant, professional experience in web development Proficiency with JavaScript & Python Proficiency with version control software Proficiency with AWS (S3, EC2, Lambda, etc.) Proficiency with modern frontend framework (React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.js) Proficiency with backend framework (Flask, Django)
